Green Your Office

Every office plays a role in ÑÇÖÞAV achieving carbon neutrality!

By making a few simple changes, offices can reduce their environmental footprint, help the College save money, and work towards ÑÇÖÞAV's long-term sustainability goals.

Gently Used Furniture & Office Supplies

The Sustainability Office has a wide selection of gently used furniture and office supplies available for free to ÑÇÖÞAV faculty and staff. Common items include office chairs, bookshelves, organizers, binders and more. Email the Sustainability Office to see what's currently available in our inventory or stop by our office in Harwood to donate items for reuse!

Discounted EV Charging

ÑÇÖÞAV offers EV charging at four locations on campus through the Chargepoint network:

Faculty, staff and students can request a discounted rate of $0.20/kWh by following the instructions on (log in with your ÑÇÖÞAV account). Guest charging is available for $1.25 per hour.

Subsidized Transportation

Commuting to campus in a sustainable way saves emissions and money. The Rideshare program gives $2/day to employees who carpool, walk, bike, drive ZEVs or use public transit. The program also reimburses up to $100 a month public transportation commuting costs. Members of The Claremont Colleges can also pick up a Class Pass from the Connection at Honnold Library to ride Foothill Transit for free.

Greenware

Reduce waste and the cost of disposables through our Greenware program. Offices can borrow reusable plates, bowls, cups and cutlery for events for free. Visit our Checkouts page for more information.

Waste Signage

Did you know that plastic take-out containers and paper towels are not recyclable? The Sustainability Office has signage available to help you sort your waste! We have laminated signs and stickers for trash, recycling, and compost. Email the Sustainability Office to get the signs sent to you through intercampus mail.
